College Student—Faculty of International Business
I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life after graduation and didn't know where to start. I used to be interested in economics and statistics but when I grew up, those interests were lost. I wasn’t sure which path to choose. Mentorship was a very useful tool to help with this; it gave me a push to start looking at new things.
My mentor and I only had some conversations the week before graduation to get to know each other through MMChannel. He helped me with my revision and my confidence. It was great to talk to someone with a different perspective on how the world works. I liked how it operated entirely online, so I could stay in touch with my mentor even when I am on the way to or from school, and it didn’t take up too much of my time. He kept reminding me to stick with it and you’ll eventually reach your goal, which I thought was good advice. He said everything is possible if you put your efforts in. After talking to my mentor, I felt happier with my choices and less stressed.
