17 years ago, when Sarah was in the first grade, Melody first met her. Sarah was quite reserved and uneasy. Melody, who had no daughters of her own, wasn't sure how Sarah would react to their encounter. But it seemed like a few hours had passed in an instant.
Now, at the age of 22, Sarah is a self-assured and compassionate woman. Sarah is currently mentoring two young girls at the same school where she first met Melody. Sarah adds, "She made a world of difference to me, and now I want to do the same for others."
